Here are some examples of our programming:

St. Patricks Day

NUIDC performs at several places around Boston during March to celebrate St. Patricks Day! In the past we have performed at Two Saints Tavern, The Bebop, Susan Bailis Assisted Living, and many more. Many of our performances have become annual events, so keep an eye out as March approaches for our St. Pats celebrations this year!

Beginner Classes

Several times a semester we hold beginner classes in Northeastern's practice rooms, open to all Northeastern students. Beginner classes are a great way to try out Irish Dance for the first time and have a great time with your friends! We will send emails as well as post info/reminders on our instagram for upcoming beginner classes, so make sure to check in during the semester so you don't miss them!

Villanova Intercollegiate Irish Dance Festival

Since 2018, NUIDC has been sending a group of our members to the Villanova University's Intercollegiate Irish Dance Festival every fall! This competition is a great way for our members who were competitive dancers to showcase their dancing in a competition environment, as well as an opportunity to showcase student choreographed numbers! We always have a great time dancing with other schools in the Northeast region, and are looking forward to returning for the competition this year!

National Collegiate Irish Dance Championships

In Spring 2023, NUIDC sent a group of our dancers to the Inaugural National Collegiate Irish Dance Championships at Iona University! NUIDC proudly placed 3rd in the group competition, and we cannot wait to return again to compete this upcoming spring!
